3 Dec 2012 Toulouse (France)

Introduction

The Euclid mission was adopted by ESA in June 2012, a significant achievement for the European cosmology and astrophysics community with significant involvement of French scientists.

Scientific activities are a major factor in the future success of this mission, to be launched in 2020. It appears appropriate to gather the French community and review its contribution to the Science Working Groups (SWG) and Science Ground Segment (SGS).

The aim of the Toulouse meeting of December 3, organized thanks to the support of CNES and Paul Sabatier University, is to present the main goals of the mission and the key players around the various SWG and SGS.
